For the past 3 or 4 years I have fallen in love every autumn.

Consistently. With the same person. Or with someone new. Regardless, when the leaves change colors I can’t help but fall in love. It’s not on purpose, and it’s always out of the blue. I love it.

But this year I’m abroad and I will be skipping autumn. It’s disheartening, yet relieving. To know that I won’t have to deal with those emotions this year.

But I will still miss the autumn air. It is my favorite season, after all.
